Shawn's Story

I work in a group home that houses elderly adults, all mentally disabled. Occasionally we are forced to deal with the passing of these individuals as part of our job, but because of our emotional attachment to these people, it can be as difficult as losing a close family member. About a year ago one of the individuals residing in the group home passed away suddenly and it was a very emotionally upsetting event for me, as I was very close to this man. I wasn't given the oppurtunity to say goodbye to him and it plagued my thoughts for a very long time after his passing.   Recently I was introduced to divining rods by a friend who also works in this group home. At first I was very skeptic of their use however that all changed the first night that I saw them in action. Before I get into specifics I should point out that our group home has a history of paranormal acitivity - IE, voices, faucets turning on at night, cupboards opening by themselves, etc. One of my staff even physically bumped into an individual that had been deceased for quit some time. That being known, the reason for using the rods should be quite obvious. My goal was to talk to my friend who had passed.   After the basics were explained to me, my friend prepared the rods for use (he used them) and instructed me to ask questions. I began with "Is there anyone here with us from the other side that would like to talk to us?" The rods answered "Yes". Curious and admittedly a bit excited, I continued my inquisition, and deemed that we were talking to the very man I had hoped to make contact with. Still skeptical however, I began to ask him questions that only I or he would know the answers to, so that I could make sure I wasn't being tricked. To my amazement, he answered my questions with a 100 percent accuracy rate. I was asking very specific questions that my living friend could not have possibly known the answer to. I am to this day astounded and look forward to aquiring my own pair of rods, so that I can continue contact with my deceased friend.   Thanks for taking the time to read this.   Sincerely, Shawn G

I'll start by sharing one of my own experiences. I was dowsing for feng shui at a friend's business in the mountains near Yosemite, a nursery with a photo gallery and outdoor gear. I was up there for a charity event. It started out normal enough as the rod lead me immediately to the photo gallery. As I followed the rod through the room, the rod lead straight to a photograph of the White Mountains. It simply stopped there, I had to physically move the rod away to continue. I had 4 other people try it with the same result. While I was outside, my friend hid the photo and we tried the dowsing again to see if it was something in the wall. Instead of leading me to the gallery as before, however, the rod went across the room to a table...where my friend had hidden the photo. We agreed that the photo had a strong energy and would make a good raffle prize for the charity event. It was the 2nd to last item. Lo and behold, I was holding the winning ticket! The energy of the photo is now in my living room!
